2. To open Microsoft Word the way is:

- Click the Start Button in the taskbar.
- Select the All Program menu and a number of menus appear.

3. Display Microsoft Word 2007


Title Bar

Contains the name of the file being worked on, and the button displays, or hides the program window, and closes the program, ie Minimize, Maximize / Restore, and Close buttons.

Office Button

Contains commands related to documents such as creating new documents (New), opening documents (Open), saving documents (Save), printing documents (Print), and so on.

Quick Access toolbar

 Toolbar contains buttons that serve as an alternative to using frequently used commands. For example, the Open tool is a shortcut from Office Button> Open, or the Save tool is a shortcut from Office Button> Save.
 Close Button
Close button is often used to close or terminate the worksheet.

zoom Slider

zoom sliders are commonly used to zoom in or out of a worksheet.

Document Window

Document window serves as a worksheet, where all the data we do in the show there.


Ribbon 

Contains special commands that are submenus of the Menu Bar.

Ruler

It is a measurement box that is placed horizontally, ie above the document, and vertically, ie to the left of the document. Ruler serves to facilitate the setting of the page layout.

 Status Bar

Is a horizontal row that displays the current document window information displayed, among others: Page displays page information and Words displays the number of pages, words, letters (no spaces), letters (with spaces), paragraphs, and bari.

 View Toolbar

 Contains document display type settings, among others:
- Print Layout: gives a view according to the results that will be received when printed (default).
- Full Screen Reading: provides full page views.
- Web Layout: provides a view according to the results displayed in the browser window.
- Outline: provides a view of the heading in the document and the level within the document structure.  
- Draft: provides a sustainable look (combines all pages as in one roll). Each page is separated by dotted lines.
